MARCH FIELD TRIP - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

DISCOVERY THE CITY ART LOCATED IN BOISE IDAHO & AT THE SAME TIME ACCEPT A PHOTOGRAPHIC CHALLENGE.

March 24, 2012 - Did you know that a former president of the US hangs out at Julia Davis Park?  It's true. Abraham Lincoln has a front row seat to the Rose Gardens.

A fun field trip is planned for Saturday, March 24, 2012. Meet up with Abe and other club members at Julia Davis Park at 9:00 a.m.  Abe is located north of the Rose Gardens at Julia Davis Park.  The plan is to provide a map with a list of the city art located in Boise and turn you loose on the city.  Oh, there is a catch---.Who wants to take the same photo of the same piece of art as another member of the camera club??  Not going to happen..... You will be handed a list of places to go and assigned techniques.  For example, turn Abe, (that's the statute of Abe) into a short guy or color his shoes green.

After the activity, we'll find a place to dine for lunch and enjoy a beautiful spring day in Boise, Idaho.  Contact Dana Grigg 888-3650 or DanaKGrigg@CableOne.Net if you have any questions.
