The BCC uses Yahoo Groups for its discussion board. Members may post messages that will be sent out to all subscribed members. The group also sends out automated email reminders of items on the calendar, such as monthly meeting. To subscribe to the group send a blank email to subscribe-boisecameraclub@groups.yahoo.com or visit the site http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/boisecameraclub and click on 'join this group'. Your request will be forwarded to the group moderator who will check to see that you are a current BCC member. If so, you will be approved and be able to use the group. If you want to access the other features of the group such as files, archived messages, the calendar, etc. you will need to have a Yahoo account. This is free and takes just a minute to sign up, but make sure to check the options to NOT receive email offers and other spam. It is set to accept by default and you must manually change it.
