Meetings

There are four main meetings to the Boise Camera Club. All are held on Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:00 pm at Meadow Lake Village 4037 E. Clocktower Lane Meridian, Idaho 83642 (click on one of the links below to get a detailed map). The first Tuesday is the General Meeting. The second Tuesday is the Print Workshop. The Third Tuesday is the Projected Image Workshop. The fourth Tuesday is the Stereo Workshop.

The General Meeting is formatted as follows: after a call to order new members and guests are introduced and welcomed. That is followed by reading of the minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer's report. Next comes discussion of new items. After the business portion has been completed a program or education session is presented. Topics are varied and have included slide shows from member's recent trips to special shows from world renowned photographers, presentation of new equipment from local camera shops, how-to sessions from photographic basics to advanced Photoshop techniques, and anything else the membership feels may be of interest (suggestions are happily accepted as are offers of presentations).

The Print Workshop, Projected Image Workshop, and Stereo Workshop consists of an intra-club competition where club members submit images to be judged. Click on the corresponding button above to get more detailed information about each of these.
